Plumber Multi required in Southampton, Hampshire.

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Plumber / Multi-Trade Operative, covering Hampshire and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will carry out plumbing works alongside general multi-trade maintenance and repairs across domestic and/or commercial properties.

This role is ideal for an experienced tradesperson who takes pride in their work, delivers excellent customer service, and can work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out a wide range of plumbing works, including:
  • First and second fix plumbing
  • Fault finding and repairs
  • Bathroom and kitchen installations
  • Pipework, leaks, and drainage issues
  • Undertake multi-trade tasks, such as:
    • Basic carpentry
    • Plaster patching and making good
    • Tiling
    • Painting and decorating
    • Minor electrical awareness (non-certifiable tasks only)
  • Work on reactive maintenance, planned works, and refurbishments
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health & safety regulations
  • Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and office staff
  • Accurately complete job reports and paperwork
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle (if provided)
  • Requirements

    • Proven experience as a Plumber, with strong multi-trade skills
    • Relevant plumbing qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent)
    • Full UK driving licence
    • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
    • Good customer service and communication skills
    • Own tools preferred (company tools/vehicle may be provided depending on role)
