Interaction Recruitment are proud to be partnering with a leading logistics provider specialising in UK and European full and part‑load solutions. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager with experience in logistics, transport, or freight forwarding to join the team.

The Role

This is a fully field‑based, new-business focused position with no set territories, giving you complete flexibility to target clients across the UK and Europe. You’ll manage your own diary, work from home, and spend the majority of your week out meeting prospective customers. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Generating new business through cold calling, networking, and self-sourced leads
  • Booking and attending your own client meetings
  • Identifying, pitching, and securing full and part‑load opportunities
  • Developing long-term customer relationships and managing existing accounts
  • Accurately updating activity and pipeline through the CRM system
  • Regular travel across the UK and occasional European travel as required
  • Working from home when not on visits

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven background in logistics, transport, or freight forwarding
  • Strong hunter mentality with a passion for winning new business
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and present confidently to clients
  • Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage your own schedule
  • Full UK driving licence
