Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to support our client's high‑performance Automated Storage & Retrieval System (ASRS) within a fast‑paced FMCG environment. This hands‑on role focuses on fault finding, problem solving, and improving equipment reliability to ensure maximum system performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct planned and reactive electrical and mechanical maintenance.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex faults efficiently.
  • Take ownership from fault detection to permanent resolution.
  • Analyse equipment data to identify recurring issues and implement improvements.
  • Collaborate with OEMs and contractors on technical issues.
  • Maintain accurate records within SAP/CMMS systems.
  • Uphold safety, quality, and operational standards.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles.

What We’re Looking For

  • NVQ Level 3 (or HNC) in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 2–3 years experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong fault‑finding skills in electrical and automated systems.
  • Experience working with PLC‑controlled systems is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with SAP PM/CMMS is desirable.
