Interaction Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Trade Counter Sales candidate from a builders merchant background to join their busy client in High Wycombe on a full-time permanent basis. This role is working Monday to Friday 07:00 to 16:30 and Saturday 07:00 to 10:30.
Salary: £30k to £33k per annum
Responsibilities:
- Serving customers over the trade counter
- Liaising with customers and suppliers via phone and email
- Sending quotes
- Processing orders
- Building rapport with existing and new customers
- Bringing on new business and lapsed customers
- Supporting yard / back office staff
- Providing product knowledge to customers
Requirements:
- Previous trade counter experience
- Previous experience working in a builders merchant
- Confident facing customers
- Strong numerical skills to work out margins and product quantities
- Computer literate
- Able to work Monday to Saturday
- Local to High Wycombe or able to commute easily
- Good telephone manner
