Position: MIG Welder
Narrative Description:
We at Interaction are currently looking for MIG welders for our client based on the outskirts of Peterborough.
Salary: DOE
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am start, 35 hours per week, with overtime available.
Some of your day-to-day duties will include:
- Setting up welding machines based on the job requirements or using a Welding Procedure Specification.
- Having fabrication experience could be an advantage.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and/or drawings to determine specific welding requirements.
- MIG welding steel, aluminium, and stainless-steel components based on blueprints.
- Ensuring work is done safely and meets quality standards.
- Following, creating, and maintaining Welding Procedure Specifications.
- Keeping work areas clean and organized, and caring for all equipment and facilities.
- Paying close attention to detail and focusing on the task.
- Following all safety rules and quality standards.
