Salary: £33,000 - £38,000 per annum / OTE Up To £65,000

Hours: Monday-Friday (06:00-15:00 / 15:00-23:00)

The Client:

Interaction Recruitment have partnered with a market-leading automotive specialist who are continuing to expand their highly successful operation. Due to ongoing growth, we are seeking experienced and motivated Vehicle Technicians, Diagnostic Technicians and Service Technicians to join their modern workshop facility on a full-time permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified or time-served mechanics looking to further develop their careers through manufacturer training, industry-recognised qualifications and a clear pathway towards Master Technician status.

The Package:

Duties:

  • Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a wide range of vehicles.
  • Conduct vehicle diagnostics and fault-finding using manufacturer diagnostic equipment.
  • Complete repairs efficiently and in line with manufacturer standards.
  • Identify additional repair requirements and report findings accurately.
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and right first time.
  • Maintain accurate job records and service documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with workshop colleagues and service teams.
  • Adhere to company and manufacturer health and safety procedures.
  • Attend training courses and manufacturer development programmes where required.
  • Support delivery of exceptional levels of customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (or equivalent).
  • Time-served mechanics will also be considered.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience within a working garage environment.
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.
  • Experience working within a main dealership or quality independent workshop.
  • EV (Electric Vehicle) experience would be advantageous.
  • MOT Tester Licence desirable but not essential.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality standards.
  • Team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Passion for the automotive industry and customer service.
