Are you an HGV Mechanic or HGV Technician looking to join a leading recycling and waste management company? You will carry out both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to keep the fleet safe, compliant, and operating at the highest standard.
This HGV Mechanic role will suit:
- Engineering professional with hands-on experience maintaining HGVs, buses, trucks or other heavy commercial vehicles.
- A Mechanic, Engineer or Technician with a background in fault diagnosis, mechanical repairs, welding/fabrication, and general vehicle maintenance.
- Individuals with a good attitude and strong attention to detail.
- Those with a class 1 driving license (would be ideal).
This HGV Mechanic role will involve:
- Carrying out scheduled servicing, inspections, pre-MOT checks, and reactive repairs.
- Fault diagnosis and repairs on heavy commercial vehicles.
- Welding, fabrication, and bin repairs as required.
- Completing accurate maintenance records and attending internal/external training.
- Working as part of a team to ensure fleet reliability and support operational requirements.
