My client are a highly reputable maintenance contractor who are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their growing team. This role is responsible for reactive maintenance work for various clients, carrying out quoted repair or quotes raised from reactive work.

Duties

  • Undertake repair and maintenance of the building fabric and services as required.
  • Manage and undertake improvement projects as required.
  • Work with production teams around PPM and breakdowns, undertaking planned maintenance as required and directed.
  • Supply Services estimating team with quote information requests by required deadlines.
  • Complete all work in a safe manner.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Possess effective computerised PPM planning skills.
  • Be flexible and able to work to tight deadlines.
  • Be personable, confident, and able to work alone without supervision.
  • Be proactive in seeking out potential problems.

Skills & Experience

  • Maintenance experience of 1 year (preferred).
  • Ideally mechanical and electrical qualifications.
  • A determined, self‑motivated attitude.
