My client are a highly reputable maintenance contractor who are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their growing team. This role is responsible for reactive maintenance work for various clients, carrying out quoted repair or quotes raised from reactive work.
Duties
- Undertake repair and maintenance of the building fabric and services as required.
- Manage and undertake improvement projects as required.
- Work with production teams around PPM and breakdowns, undertaking planned maintenance as required and directed.
- Supply Services estimating team with quote information requests by required deadlines.
- Complete all work in a safe manner.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Possess effective computerised PPM planning skills.
- Be flexible and able to work to tight deadlines.
- Be personable, confident, and able to work alone without supervision.
- Be proactive in seeking out potential problems.
Skills & Experience
- Maintenance experience of 1 year (preferred).
- Ideally mechanical and electrical qualifications.
- A determined, self‑motivated attitude.
