This Client is a leading ambient transport and logistics business, providing services to many of the UK's best-known brands across core consumer and retail sectors.
We are currently looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join their growing team in Barnsley. The role is based from Barnsley and will involve Stores, RDC's, Warehouse deliveries and general haulage work. This role can involve manual handling, drop and swaps and general trunking.
Shifts: Any 5 from 7 - 16:00pm-21:00pm start window.
Salary:
- Mon-Fri Days - £16.00 per hour
- Mon-Fri Night Shift - £16.95 per hour
- Saturday and Sunday Day Shift - £19.63 per hour
- Saturday and Sunday Night Shift - £19.63 per hour
- Bank Holidays - £21.41 per hour
Qualifications:
- You should hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, DCPC & Tacho Card.
- No more than 6 points on your Licence with no DD/DR Code convictions.
- Understand and be able to comply with Driver's hours and WTD legislation.
- Be able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and report defects correctly.
- Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements.
- Excellent communication skills.
