We are currently recruiting a Loadbay Operative to work within a chiller environment for our client in Sittingbourne. This is a physical, hands-on role involving the stacking and palletising of 10kg tubs of jam ready for dispatch.
The Role
- Working in a chilled loadbay environment
- Stacking, moving and palletising 10kg tubs of jam
- Preparing pallets for storage and distribution
- Checking, preparing and processing dispatch paperwork
- Using computer systems to support dispatch activities
- Following health & safety and manual handling procedures
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
What We're Looking For
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a chiller environment
- Computer literate and confident using basic computer systems for dispatch documentation
- Flexible to work rotating shift times of 06:00–14:00, 08:00–16:00 and 10:00–18:00
- Must have a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle, as public transport is not suitable and the site location is not easily accessible
