Overview: We are recruiting an experienced Powder Coater / Paint Sprayer to join a small but busy production team in Seaforth. This role requires previous hands-on experience in powder coating or paint spraying of metal components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a semi-automated powder coating paint line
- Apply powder coating using electrostatic spray equipment
- Manually spray items such as boxes and specialist components
- Prepare and prep materials prior to painting
- Hang parts on a moving track system
- Carry out full clean-down procedures between colour changes to prevent cross-contamination
- Ensure procedures are followed accurately on every clean-down
- Work both in the spray booth and on the paint line
- Maintain high quality and production standards
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Powder Coater or Paint Sprayer (essential)
- Experience working on a busy paint production line
- Experience powder coating or paint spraying metal components
- Experience preparing materials for painting
- Quality focused, reliable, and self-motivated
- Team player
- Willingness to work overtime when required
