We are working with a well-established secondary school in Leighton Buzzard seeking a passionate and skilled DT Teacher to join their successful Design & Technology department. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and motivated teacher to inspire students and deliver engaging lessons across KS3–KS4, with potential KS5 teaching available for suitable candidates.
Role Overview:
- Teach Design & Technology across KS3–KS4 (KS5 desirable)
- Plan and deliver engaging, practical, and theory-based lessons
- Support students in developing creativity, technical knowledge, and problem-solving skills
- Monitor student progress and implement strategies to raise attainment
- Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development
- Maintain a safe and organised workshop/classroom environment
About You:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching DT at secondary level
- Strong subject knowledge across DT disciplines
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills

- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
