A nationally recognised Market Research agency is recruiting for a Fieldwork Operations Manager to be based in Leeds.
Responsibilities
- Manage Market Research Execs & Senior Execs capacity and responsibilities, ensuring best practices and continuity of projects; provide team leadership in Fieldwork Operations and cross-team projects.
- Receive & monitor facility bookings; coordinate the smooth running and management of all projects, creating projects and allocate/brief Execs to carry out to completion.
- Ensure the team understands fieldwork best practice and can confidentially support project teams to develop first-class, efficient and effective fieldwork briefs.
- Product preparation: set onsite product prep processes in collaboration with Facilities Coordinator and ensure quality standards are outlined & maintained.
- Offsite fieldwork: develop & maintain offsite fieldwork best practice and ensure the team can deliver first-class fieldwork, including management, training, and coordination of offsite/external teams.
- Qual fieldwork: develop & maintain Qual fieldwork best practice and ensure the team can deliver first-class fieldwork, including management, training, and coordination of offsite/external teams.
- Fieldwork roles: develop best practice for the hosting, facilitating, interviewing & product hand-outs and ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Booking systems: create/develop booking systems; ensure the team is aware of correct use and explore more efficient ways to book equipment as required.
- Upkeep & maintenance: develop facility upkeep standards and maintain high standards with the team; build strong working relationships with maintenance suppliers alongside the Facilities Coordinator.
- Recruitment & onboarding: oversee recruitment, onboarding, training and quality standards; develop standards & processes and ensure they are maintained.
- Booking & payment: develop and maintain booking & payment systems; ensure internal staffing is utilised where possible prior to booking of casual support.
- Funding, distribution & reporting: act as platform champion, oversee efficient use by the team; monitor incentive costs vs spending and report; scan market with Operations Director to ensure BYR are using the best/most cost-effective platform available.
- Quotas: work with internal teams to ensure the best methods for tracking project progress are implemented.
- Drop outs/cancellations: develop strong relationships with the panel team to improve participant/panellist engagement.
- Participant experience: develop and record best practice; monitor and report on service satisfaction with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Where appropriate, line manage junior team members, hold regular one-to-ones, provide constructive feedback and support career plans and objectives.
- Provide feedback to and coach other team members to help their development; ensure project team members and line reports are fully utilised and time managed effectively.
- Build strong working relationships with other teams; model this to less experienced members, coaching and providing regular feedback to develop skills.
- Demonstrate a solution-focused approach and proactively offer viable solutions to challenges.
