I am looking for experienced CNC Punch Operatives to work within the Production team of a busy Manufacturing company based near to Yeadon.

Ideally you will have CNC Punch experience, however, if you have good Machine Operative experience and/or good knowledge of working with Sheet Metal, my client will consider you for this role.

Day to day tasks for the successful candidate will be:

  • Setting and operating various Amada Punch Press Machines
  • The punching of parts to specific drawings and work instructions
  • Maintaining tooling and ensuring smooth production
  • Loading and unloading the machines
  • Checking off, counting and final checks of all production batches
  • Ensuring all products are manufactured to high standards
  • Stack products onto pallets and move around the factory
  • Ad hoc duties around the factory

Key skills required for the role include:

  • Must have CNC Punch or similar Machine Op experience
  • Good knowledge of Sheet Metal, ideally both Mild and Stainless Steel
  • Ability to read/understand and work from technical drawings would be beneficial
  • Flexibility and Teamwork with the will to assist in other areas where required
  • Possess a good work ethic

You will be required to work 7am to 4pm from Monday to Thursday, with a 12pm finish on a Friday. The Pay Rate for the role is £13.50p/hr and the role is advertised as Temp to Perm for the right candidate.
