We are looking for an experienced CNC Miller with strong hands-on experience using HAAS and/or Siemens ShopMill controls. You will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines to produce high-precision components in a clean, well-equipped workshop.
Key Responsibilities
- Program, set and operate CNC milling machines
- Use HAAS and/or Siemens ShopMill controls confidently
- Manufacture precision components to tight tolerances
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Select tooling, set work offsets and run first-offs
- Perform in-process inspection to maintain quality
- Maintain a tidy and safe workspace
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CNC Miller
- Competent with HAAS and/or Siemens ShopMill
- Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings
- Good understanding of machining principles and tooling
- Reliable and able to work independently
- Must live within approx. 10–12 miles of LS20
Desirable
- Experience with multi-axis machining
- CAD/CAM background
- Experience in precision engineering (aerospace, motorsport, medical, etc.)
