I am looking for a Warehouse / Hygiene Operative to work with my client based in Desborough. The role is a mixed role therefore they are asking for a minimum of 3 months experience and a preference for having done hygiene / cleaning work too.
As it is a mixed role, if you have a PPT / LLOP licence this would be preferred but training can be provided. Also, if you have a Counterbalance licence, this can be utilised but it is not essential to your application. The shift will be rotating; however, whilst undergoing training, the shift will be on a fixed schedule. They are also looking for someone who can be flexible to cover when other hygienists are absent.
Main duties:
- To be an essential part of the warehouse team by ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the facilities
- To show support & compliance to site and regulatory H&S standards and practices
- Housekeeping
- Repositioning warehouse bins using PPT/LLOP
- Emptying warehouse bins, including some outside bins
- Operating warehouse bailer
- Driving scrubber/sweeper to keep warehouse shopfloor clean from debris (training provided)
- Spillage control
To be considered for this role, you should be able to get to the location and be a proactive, hands-on member of the team and able to also work independently.
