Pay Rate: £12.90 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 15:00 (30 min unpaid break)

We are currently recruiting for a Food Production Operative to join a busy and growing food production team. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity with pay increases available after a successful 12-week probation period.

Duties Include:

  • Preparing, slicing, and packing meat products, including pork
  • Maintaining high hygiene and food safety standards
  • Working within a chilled production environment
  • Some heavy lifting and manual handling duties
  • Following all health & safety procedures
  • PPE must be worn at all times. This is supplied including safety boots

Requirements:

  • Comfortable handling meat products, including pork
  • Able to work in a cold/chiller environment
  • Physically fit due to heavy lifting requirements
  • Reliable with a good work ethic
  • Previous food production experience is beneficial but not essential
