About the Role
Our client, a specialist glazing company based in Stevenage, is seeking a motivated and detail driven Junior Estimator to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with early-stage construction knowledge who is eager to develop their estimating skills within a technical, fast paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Tender Analysis: Extract relevant information, quantities, and measurements from tender documentation.
- Logikal Software Use: Assist in producing accurate estimates using Logikal; previous experience is highly desirable.
- CAD Interpretation: Read and interpret CAD drawings, ensuring accurate dimensions and specifications are captured.
- Project Specification Review: Understand and apply project specifications to ensure estimates align with technical requirements.
- Cost Estimation: Support the preparation of quotations, cost breakdowns, and material take offs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with senior estimators, project managers, and the design team to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Documentation: Maintain organised records of estimates, revisions, and supporting documents.
