We’re recruiting for an experienced TIG Welder to join a well-established fabrication business based in Knowsley. This is a long-term opportunity with consistent work, a skilled team environment, and opportunities to develop specialist welding techniques.
Key Duties
- Experienced in TIG and MIG welding
- Carrying out precision welding on mild and stainless steel
- Performing fully purged (back purging) TIG welding to high-quality standards.
- Reading and working from detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
- Supporting occasional site-based installation work as required.
- Using workshop equipment and maintaining high standards of workmanship.
- Inspecting finished work to ensure it meets required specifications and quality standards.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Adhering to all Health & Safety procedures, including correct use of PPE and equipment.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a TIG Welder working with thin gauge stainless steel.
- Strong experience with TIG welding.
- Ability to weld pipework and ducting to a high standard.
- Experience with stainless fabrication.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
