About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and qualified MOT Tester to join a brand new automotive team based in St Ives. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who takes pride in delivering high‑quality vehicle inspections while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out MOT tests in accordance with current DVSA regulations and standards.
- Accurately complete all MOT documentation and records.
- Identify and report vehicle defects and safety issues.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and basic diagnostics as required.
- Liaise with technicians and service advisors regarding repair requirements.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained and used correctly.
- Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times.
Essential Requirements
- Valid MOT Tester qualification and current testing licence.
- Proven experience as an MOT Tester.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong knowledge of DVSA testing procedures and regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Requirements
- Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair qualification (or equivalent).
- Experience with diagnostics and servicing.
- Hybrid and electric vehicle knowledge.
