Location: Near St Ives
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm (42.5 hours per week)
Contract: Permanent
We are recruiting for an experienced Goods In Coordinator to oversee & coordinate the Goods Inwards department. This role is responsible for managing incoming stock, supporting warehouse operations, and leading a small team to ensure goods are received, processed, and stored accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Receive and unload incoming deliveries
- Check goods against delivery notes and purchase orders
- Inspect items for damage and report discrepancies
- Book stock into the system using warehouse software
- Label, store, and organise inventory correctly
- Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant goods-in area
- Communicate with suppliers and internal teams regarding issues
- Assist with stock counts and general warehouse duties
- Fleet and yard coordination where required
- Support and lead a small team within the Goods In function
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience within a Goods In / warehouse environment
- Current FLT licence (essential) – in-house licences considered
- Experience supervising or leading a small team (highly desirable)
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confident communicator with a proactive approach
Pay & Benefits
- Experienced candidates with leadership experience: £12.71 per hour, increasing to £13.45 per hour after probation
- Candidates without leadership experience: £12.21 per hour, increasing to £12.71 per hour after probation
- Opportunity to progress to £13.45 per hour after completing a leadership course (typically within 12 months, depending on development)
- FLT Key User Allowance: Up to £1,000 per annum, paid in two instalments (March & September)
