This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, closing sales, and providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.
The Role
You'll be responsible for managing a high volume of inbound enquiries while also proactively generating new business opportunities. On a typical day, you'll handle around 50 new enquiries from both trade customers and the general public, helping them find the right products and services to meet their needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to approximately 50 inbound enquiries per day from B2B and B2C customers.
- Identify customer requirements and recommend suitable products and services.
- Prepare and send accurate quotations.
- Proactively generate new business through outbound calls and business development activities.
- Build long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
- Negotiate and close sales to achieve individual targets.
- Maintain accurate customer records using the CRM system.
- Deliver excellent customer service throughout the sales process.
About You
We're looking for someone who is confident, personable, and commercially minded, with a proven ability to convert enquiries into sales.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in an internal sales, telesales, or sales executive role.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive approach to business development.
- Confidence handling both inbound and outbound sales calls.
- Experience using CRM systems.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well as part of a small team.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary of £30,000–£35,000.
- Uncapped commission with realistic on-target earnings of £5,000–£10,000.
- Monday to Friday working hours with no weekend work.
- A supportive, family-run working environment.
- Opportunity to grow with a successful and expanding business.
