Permanent | Full-Time | Nights Out

Salary: £800–£1,000 per week + Nights Out

Average earnings: £750+ per week

£30 per night out

Overtime paid at £18.00 per hour after 11 hours per day.

The Role

We are looking for a reliable Class 2 HGV Driver to join our team based in Grays, Essex. This is a full-time, permanent position with consistent work, weekly pay, and your own allocated truck. You'll be delivering palletised transport across commercial premises throughout the UK, carrying out multiple deliveries and collections each day. As part of your employment, we'll pay for and train you to gain your ADR qualification (packages).

Vehicle

  • Automatic FM Volvo Sleeper Cab
  • Curtain-side trailer with 28ft body
  • Rear tail swing experience is essential
  • Every vehicle is valeted before a new driver takes it out

Responsibilities

  • Complete daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
  • Secure loads safely before departures
  • Carry out multiple deliveries and collections
  • Maintain excellent customer service
  • Communicate any delays or ETAs to customers
  • Follow all transport legislation and company procedures
  • Occasionally assist with additional work if requested after completing your run (paid where applicable)

Essential Requirements

  • Valid Class 2 Licence
  • Valid CPC Qualification Card
  • Digital Tachograph Card
  • Good understanding of safe working practices
  • ADR licence is beneficial but not essential (training provided)
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work independently
