Royde & Tucker are currently looking for a Temporary Electro Panel Operative to join their manufacturing team based in Hitchin.
Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour
Hours: 39 hours per week
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Friday: 8:00am – 1:00pm

The Role: As an Electro Plater Operative, you will play a key role in the manufacturing process, ensuring products are produced to a high standard while following all quality and safety procedures. Your duties will include:
- Preparing metal components for processing
- Loading and unloading components throughout the production process
- Working safely with chemicals and following COSHH procedures at all times
- Carrying out quality checks on finished products
- Cleaning, packing and preparing products for dispatch
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organized working environment
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets
- Advantage to be able to read engineering drawings
About You:
- Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment is preferred
- Experience working with chemicals or within a finishing, plating or industrial environment is advantageous
- Knowledge of COSHH and safe chemical handling is desirable
- Good attention to detail and a positive attitude
- Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team
