Due to further expansion plans, our market leading client is seeking an enthusiastic & dynamic Health and Safety Manager to join their highly successful business and support the board of Directors on a Full Time Permanent basis.
Responsibilities
- Taking on a leading role, become responsible for all aspects of Health and Safety onsite
- Drive and innovate Health and Safety practices at the site
- Dedicated and motivated in achieving ISO45001 certification in line with current company achievements
- Improve and develop current policies and procedures and ensure measures are implemented to achieving standards
- Organise and hold Health and Safety meetings in order to communicate new strategies
- Liaising with regulatory organisations and submit reports in a timely manner
- Work and maintain relationships with internal and external colleagues
- Develop and maintain a culture of continuous Health and Safety improvements and practices.
Qualifications
- A Minimum NEBOSH certificate or NVQ equivalent
- A high level of knowledge around Health and Safety legislations and practices
- Minimum of 3 to 5 Years experience in a Health and Safety role
- A Chemical and Manufacturing background would be highly desirable.
