The Role

As a Workshop Technician, you'll play a key role in ensuring industrial cleaning equipment is maintained, serviced and repaired to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Servicing, repairing and maintaining a wide range of industrial cleaning equipment
  • Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical and electronic faults
  • Working on petrol, diesel and LPG engine systems
  • Carrying out inspections, testing and preventative maintenance activities
  • Using diagnostic equipment and a variety of hand and power tools
  • Completing repair documentation and service reports accurately
  • Identifying and ordering parts when required
  • Managing workloads efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Ensuring all workshop activities are completed in line with health and safety procedures

What We're Looking For

We're keen to speak with engineers who have:

  • Mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding and repair experience
  • Experience within engineering environments such as plant, maintenance, agricultural, automotive, hydraulic, pneumatic or industrial machinery
  • Good understanding of mechanical systems, engines and diagnostics
  • Experience using electrical and mechanical tools
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Engineering qualifications such as NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent (advantageous but not essential)
  • Full UK Driving Licence
