THE ROLE

We are currently looking for proactive, reliable and hardworking Warehouse Pickers to join a busy warehouse operation on a temp-to-perm basis. You will be responsible for accurately picking stock using handheld scanners and WMS, while working efficiently to achieve daily productivity and KPI targets. This is a fast-paced and physically active role, ideal for someone who enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in getting the job done accurately and efficiently.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Picking orders accurately using handheld scanners
  • Using WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) to process orders
  • Operating ride-on trucks / PPTs
  • Moving stock safely around the warehouse
  • Lifting and handling boxes weighing approximately 12–15kg
  • Working towards and achieving KPI and productivity targets
  • Checking picked items for accuracy
  • Following warehouse health and safety procedures
  • Keeping the warehouse clean, safe and organised

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Experienced in warehouse picking
  • Comfortable using scanners and WMS
  • Familiar with PPT / ride-on trucks, or willing to learn
  • Proactive, observant and reliable
  • Physically fit and comfortable regularly lifting 12–15kg
  • Able to work at pace and consistently meet targets
  • Have a good understanding of English
  • Punctual, hardworking and committed
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Motivated by achieving KPIs and productivity targets
