Salary: £36,000 - £44,000 Basic Salary | OTE £45,000-£50,000+

Hours: Monday-Friday, 08:00-17:00

The Role

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of forklift trucks and material handling equipment across customer sites throughout your area.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults
  • Servicing and maintaining forklift trucks and associated equipment
  • Attending breakdowns and carrying out emergency repairs
  • Completing service and repair documentation accurately
  • Building strong relationships with customers and providing excellent service
  • Working independently while maintaining communication with the wider engineering team
  • Repairing and maintaining engines, batteries, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience working within the Forklift, Plant or Material Handling industries
  • Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding skills
  • Experience working with engines, batteries and mobile plant equipment
  • Ability to work independently in a field-based environment
  • Engineering qualifications such as NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent are advantageous
  • Full UK Driving Licence
