About the Role
We are recruiting an experienced Service Engineer to join a growing, established team specialising in automated gates and entry systems.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer who enjoys fault finding, problem solving, and working with customers to provide high‑quality service solutions.
The successful candidate will diagnose faults, carry out repairs, complete upgrades, install replacement equipment, and provide ongoing support for a variety of automated access systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose faults on automated gates and entry systems.
- Carry out breakdown repairs and servicing.
- Complete upgrades, replacements, and small installation works.
- Fault find and repair automated gates, barriers, intercom systems, GSM systems, and access‑control equipment.
- Install replacement parts and equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service while working on‑site.
- Complete work safely and efficiently to a high standard.
Requirements
- Previous experience in gate automation, automated entry systems, security systems, or a similar engineering background.
- Strong fault‑finding and repair skills.
- Good mechanical and electrical understanding.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn and develop.
- Full UK driving licence required.
- Comfortable travelling to customer sites.
- Have own transport (car).
