Factory Cleaner – Temp to Perm
Location: Thriplow, Cambridgeshire
Pay: £13.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 5:00pm

Our client is currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Factory Cleaner to join their busy and well-established manufacturing business based in Thriplow, Cambridgeshire.
This is a genuine temp-to-perm opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment and is looking for a stable, long-term position.
The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning all areas of the factory, including production areas, warehouse spaces, communal areas and staff facilities.
IMPORTANT: Candidates must hold a valid driving licence and have their own transport due to the location of the site and lack of public transport links.
Duties Will Include:
- General cleaning throughout the factory and production areas
- Sweeping, mopping and cleaning factory floors
- Cleaning warehouse and storage areas
- Cleaning staff toilets, kitchens, canteens and changing rooms
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctlyCleaning work surfaces, communal areas and walkways
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the site
- Following health & safety and site hygiene procedures
- Ensuring cleaning equipment and materials are used and stored safely
- Reporting any maintenance issues or health & safety concerns
- Supporting additional cleaning duties as required
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous cleaning experience, ideally within a factory, warehouse or industrial environment
- Must be able to drive and have access to their own vehicle due to limited public transport links
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Good attention to detail
- Comfortable carrying out physical cleaning duties
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Takes pride in maintaining a clean and organised workplace
- Good understanding of health & safety and hygiene standards
- Flexible and willing to clean different areas of the factory

Monday to Friday
7:30am – 5:00pm
£13.00 per hour
