Interaction Recruitment is currently working with a client based in Peterborough who is looking to recruit an experienced Welder / Fabricator (MIG / TIG) to join their workshop team. This role would suit a skilled welder/fabricator with experience working on fabricated components and assemblies within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- The Role:
- MIG and TIG welding of mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium (depending on projects)
- Fabrication and assembly of components from engineering drawings
- Cutting, prepping, and finishing materials to specification
- Ensuring high-quality welds and adherence to safety standards
- Working as part of a skilled fabrication team
- Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Welder / Fabricator
- Competent in MIG and TIG welding
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Good attention to detail and workmanship
- Engineering or fabrication background preferred
