Site Mechanical Engineer / Pump Service Engineer Location: Harlow, Essex Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 per annum, depending on experience Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Hours: Monday–Thursday 8:00am–4:30pm | Friday 8:00am–3:30pm Overtime: Available and paid at premium rates The Opportunity We are working with an established engineering business in Harlow that is looking to appoint an experienced Site Mechanical Engineer / Pump Service Engineer. This is a hands-on position combining customer-site and workshop work, servicing, maintaining, overhauling and repairing pumps, motors and other industrial rotating equipment. You will primarily cover customer sites within approximately a 50-mile radius of Harlow, so a full UK driving licence is essential. Key Responsibilities Service, maintain and repair industrial pumps. Strip, inspect, overhaul and rebuild pumps. Replace mechanical seals, bearings and other components. Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out repairs. Repair and rebuild single-phase and three-phase electric motors. Service industrial fans and blower units. Work on industrial gearboxes and rotating machinery.
