The Role
As an Accounts Payable Assistant, you'll be the first point of contact for Accounts Payable queries and responsible for processing a high volume of invoices in a fast-moving, transactional environment. This entry-level role is ideal for someone who wants to grow within a business that values initiative, confidence, and team spirit. You'll play a key part in supporting the finance function behind our high-performance operations helping ensure everything off the track runs as smoothly as things on it.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for supplier and AP queries
- Process a high volume of invoices with speed and accuracy
- Manage daily transactional accounting tasks
- Assist with month-end close and reconciliations
- Communicate across departments to resolve issues quickly and professionally
- Follow a hands-off management style: be shown, trained, and trusted to take ownership, support is always available when needed
