Interaction Recruitment are partnering with a national rail industry specialist who delivers expert design, engineering, project management, construction and maintenance solutions, supporting them with their permanent recruitment. An exciting time to join the business, the client are looking for a Stock Coordinator to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis, to be based in Doncaster.
The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage day-to-day operations of multiple satellite storage locations.
- Receive, inspect, record, and store incoming stock and materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels using inventory management systems and manual records where required.
- Conduct regular stock counts and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Coordinate stock transfers between sites and central warehouse locations.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages, damaged goods, or replenishment needs.
- Ensure all storage areas are clean, organised, secure, and compliant with health and safety standards.
- Prepare and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and consumables to operational teams as required.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and movement of goods using appropriate equipment.
- Maintain records of deliveries, dispatches, transfers, and returns.
- Liaise with suppliers, drivers, and internal departments regarding stock movements and requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve storage efficiency and inventory processes.
- Support audits and compliance checks as required.
- Essential: Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, or inventory control role.
- Experience managing stock across multiple locations is desirable.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic computer skills and experience using inventory or warehouse systems.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Current driver’s licence.
- Desirable: Forklift licence/certification.
- Experience with ERP or inventory management software.
