Location: Derby

FTE Basic Salary: Β£28,000.00 Per Annum to Β£30,000.00 Per Annum (Pro Rata for Part Time 28 Hours Per Week)

This is a varied role offered on a Part Time Temporary to Permanent basis. Our client is a highly reputable company established for well over 40 years with a huge presence across the UK. They are experiencing organic growth and are seeking an enthusiastic and initiative-taking Operations Coordinator.

Operations Coordinator role:

  • Responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure office operations are running smoothly.
  • HR duties, Health and Safety Administration, and Purchasing Administration.
  • Assisting the Operations Department in all aspects of administration.
  • Overseeing contractors on site and handling queries with service providers.
  • Obtaining quotations and acting as Purchasing Administrator when necessary, including raising Purchase Orders.
  • Being the point of contact for colleagues regarding HR related queries, including onboarding new starters.
  • Demonstrating a flexible attitude and a can-do approach.
  • Actively participating in meetings and contributing effectively.
  • Undertaking ad hoc duties as required.

Operations Coordinator requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Purchasing Administrator, Operations Administrator, Facilities Administrator, or similar is essential.
  • Highly flexible with a can-do attitude and a hands-on approach.
  • Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication and a dynamic, likeable personality.
