The Role
We’re looking for a Night Shift Hygiene Operative to play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards across our Corby-based clients production facility. Working nights, you’ll ensure all equipment and production areas are cleaned thoroughly and ready for the next day’s production.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out cleaning of production areas, machinery, and equipment in line with hygiene schedules
- Safely use approved cleaning chemicals, materials, and equipment, including Clean-In-Place (CIP) systems
- Complete hygiene records and cleaning documentation accurately
- Ensure fillers, conveyors, belts, floors, and surrounding areas are cleaned to required standards
- Identify and report hygiene risks, spills, or contamination issues
- Support audit and inspection readiness
- Follow all health, safety, and food safety procedures at all times
- Ensure production lines are cleaned and ready for start-up the following day
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a hygiene or cleaning role (food manufacturing experience desirable)
- Understanding of food hygiene and safety standards (training provided)
- Comfortable working night shifts in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
