About the Role
We are looking to strengthen our team with a skilled Installation Engineer to support ongoing and upcoming projects. While a welder/fabricator background would be advantageous, this role is primarily focused on steel erection, mechanical fitting, and on-site installation work. Welding and fabrication experience is therefore desirable but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Steel erection and mechanical fitting on site
- Assisting with installation and breakdown work
- Working as part of a team to deliver projects safely and efficiently
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving under time pressure
- Supporting and potentially leading installation teams as required
Key Skills and Experience
- Experience in steel erection, mechanical fitting, or a related installation role
- Welder/fabricator background preferred but not essential
- Ability to think clearly and solve problems during breakdown or reactive work
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Previous team leader or supervisory experience is desirable
Licences and Certifications (Preferred)
- FLT
- Scissor lift
- Cherry picker
- Telehandler (Not all are essential; training may be available for the right candidate.)
