A growing construction company based in Livingston is looking for a reliable and hardworking Construction Labourer to join its team on a full-time, Contract
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within the construction industry and gain experience working across a variety of projects.
The Role
As a Construction Labourer, you will provide support to tradespeople and site teams, helping to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist tradespeople and site teams with day-to-day construction activities.
- Load, unload and move materials around site.
- Prepare tools, equipment and materials for use.
- Keep work areas clean, tidy and organised.
- Assist with site preparation and general construction duties.
- Dispose of waste and materials safely and appropriately.
- Support trades such as plasterers, joiners, bricklayers and other construction professionals.
- Follow site health and safety procedures at all times.
- Ensure tools and equipment are used safely and correctly.
- Carry out any other general labouring duties as required.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous construction or labouring experience is preferred but not essential.
- A good understanding of general construction site practices.
- Reliable, punctal and hardworking.
- Physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual work.
- Good attitude and willingness to learn.
- Able to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong awareness of health and safety.
- Professional and positive approach to work.
- CSCS card would be advantageous.
- Full UK Driving Licence would be advantageous.
