The Role
Interaction Recruitment is looking for a committed and experienced Class 2 HIAB Driver to join a busy roofing materials team in Bedford. This is a permanent, full‑time role offering a dependable Monday–Friday schedule with no late nights and a guaranteed latest finish of 16:30.
You’ll be carrying out local deliveries of roofing products to trade customers and building sites, using the HIAB crane with confidence and professionalism.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver roofing materials across the Bedfordshire area in a Class 2 HIAB vehicle
- Operate the HIAB crane safely and efficiently for all loading/unloading tasks
- Carry out daily vehicle and crane checks
- Maintain a clean, safe working environment
- Provide excellent customer service at every delivery point
What We’re Looking For
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- HIAB licence/certification (ALLMI / RTITB / ITSSAR)
- At least 6 months’ hands‑on HIAB experience
- Confident crane operation and excellent safety awareness
- A reliable, professional approach
Working Hours
Monday – Thursday: 07:00 – 16:30
Friday: 07:00 – 16:00
No weekends, no evenings, no overtime pressure
