We are an education recruitment agency working in partnership with a secondary school to recruit a Personal Development Teacher for a permanent position starting in September. This role is suitable for a qualified secondary teacher with experience or training in Personal Development, PSHE, Citizenship or RSE, and is open to ECTs and experienced teachers.
The Role
- Teaching Personal Development / PSHE / RSE at Key Stages 3 and 4
- Delivering lessons covering PSHE, Citizenship, RSE, SMSC and British Values
- Planning and delivering engaging, inclusive lessons
- Working alongside pastoral and curriculum teams
- Contributing to wider Personal Development initiatives across the school
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Background in PSHE, Citizenship, RE, English, Sociology, Humanities or related subject
- Experience delivering Personal Development / PSHE / Citizenship in a secondary setting
- Strong classroom management and a commitment to student wellbeing and development
