We are an education recruitment agency working in partnership with a secondary school to recruit a Personal Development Teacher for a permanent position starting in September. This role is suitable for a qualified secondary teacher with experience or training in Personal Development, PSHE, Citizenship or RSE, and is open to ECTs and experienced teachers.

The Role

  • Teaching Personal Development / PSHE / RSE at Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Delivering lessons covering PSHE, Citizenship, RSE, SMSC and British Values
  • Planning and delivering engaging, inclusive lessons
  • Working alongside pastoral and curriculum teams
  • Contributing to wider Personal Development initiatives across the school

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Background in PSHE, Citizenship, RE, English, Sociology, Humanities or related subject
  • Experience delivering Personal Development / PSHE / Citizenship in a secondary setting
  • Strong classroom management and a commitment to student wellbeing and development
