Be part of the team behind the scenes at Goodwood Revival. We are looking for reliable and hardworking Back of House Catering Assistants to join our team during this year's Goodwood Revival. Taking place at the iconic Goodwood Motor Circuit from 18th–20th September 2026, Revival is one of the UK's biggest and most distinctive motorsport events. Behind the scenes, our catering teams play an important part in keeping food service running smoothly throughout the busy weekend.
This is a practical, hands-on role and would suit someone who enjoys working as part of a team and doesn't mind getting stuck in.
What you’ll be doing:
- Washing dishes, pots, pans, trays and kitchen equipment
- Keeping washing-up and kitchen areas clean, organised and hygienic
- Helping chefs and catering staff with basic preparation and general kitchen tasks
- Moving stock, equipment and supplies around the kitchen or service areas
- Clearing and cleaning work areas throughout the day
- Supporting the team during busy service periods
- Following food hygiene, health and safety procedures
- Helping with the set-up and close-down of catering areas
- Carrying out any other reasonable back-of-house duties needed to keep the operation running efficiently
What we’re looking for:
- You don’t need extensive kitchen experience for this role. More important is a positive attitude, reliability and willingness to work hard.
- Dependable and punctual
- Comfortable working in a busy environment
- Happy to undertake washing-up and cleaning duties
- Able to follow instructions and work well within a team
- Physically able to spend periods standing and carrying out active duties
- Organised and able to keep work areas clean and tidy
- Calm and productive when things get busy
- Available to work during the Revival event dates
- Previous experience in a kitchen, catering, hospitality or cleaning environment would be useful, but training can be provided for the right person.
