Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Chef to join our team. You will work split shifts, preparing and cooking meals for both lunch and dinner services. This is a hands-on role that requires efficiency, creativity, and a passion for delivering delicious food.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the highest standard during lunch and dinner services.
- Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all menu items.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment at all times.
- Assist with stock control, ingredient preparation, and kitchen inventory.
- Follow all health and safety, and food hygiene standards.
- Work collaboratively with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a chef in a busy pub or restaurant environment.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in split shift patterns.
- Strong knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety practices.
