Are you a skilled joiner with a passion for precision and craftsmanship? We are looking for a Joinery Specialist to join a busy manufacturing team in Sunderland. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with detail and creating bespoke, design-led pieces.
What you’ll be doing:
- Manufacturing bespoke joinery items with care and accuracy
- Working from technical drawings to produce specialist features
- Using workshop machinery including panel saws, chop saws, routers, and spindle moulders
- Working with materials such as MFC, MDF, and specialist veneers
- Taking ownership of quality, checking your work and supporting colleagues
- Collaborating across the workshop to ensure smooth workflow and delivery
- Supporting other departments as required
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in joinery or furniture manufacturing, ideally in a high-end or bespoke setting
- Confidence using workshop machinery (panel saw, router, spindle moulder, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and initiative
- Reliable, flexible team player with a positive attitude
- Experience in door manufacturing is a plus
