Role Overview:
The Business Development Specialist will drive new business, building relationships and securing sales opportunities. This role focuses on identifying and pursuing new leads, managing a sales pipeline, and meeting revenue targets. You will work independently, develop customer relationships, and collaborate with Sales and Marketing to execute outreach strategies. This is a target-driven role that requires an experienced business development professional with a strong track record in B2B sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business within target markets
- Conduct research to spot growth opportunities
- Generate new sales through outbound activity and networking
- Build relationships with new customers and propose solutions
- Manage the sales pipeline and produce forecasts
- Collaborate with Marketing and Lead Generation
- Attend trade shows and industry events
- Achieve £250k new business in year one
Skills & Experience:
- 3-5+ years in business development or B2B sales
- Proven success in identifying new opportunities and delivering growth
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Comfortable working independently
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
- (Desirable) Experience in electronics, power supplies, or technical products
