Are you a hands-on Multi-Skilled Engineer who thrives on solving problems and keeping production moving? We’re looking for a skilled Shift Engineer to join our team, providing first-class mechanical and electrical engineering support across PET extrusion, thermoforming and manufacturing equipment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical & electrical breakdowns
- Fault-find across motors, drives, sensors, pneumatics, hydraulics & controls
- Complete planned and reactive maintenance
- Carry out root cause analysis and eliminate repeat failures
- Support start-ups, changeovers, upgrades and new equipment
- Drive reliability, TPM and continuous improvement
What we’re looking for:
- Multi-skilled engineering experience with strong mechanical & electrical skills
- Manufacturing, FMCG, plastics, packaging or process industry experience
- Good fault-finding and problem-solving ability
- HNC, apprenticeship or equivalent engineering qualification
- PLC, PET extrusion or thermoforming experience is highly desirable
