I am looking for an experienced Folder Gluer Machine Operator for a busy and expanding company based in Bradford.

Day to day tasks for the successful candidate will be

  • Setting up, operating and day-to-day running of a Folder Gluer Machine
  • Loading materials, adjusting settings, and ensuring proper alignment for folds and glue application
  • Continuously monitor the output to ensure products meet customer specifications
  • Perform routine cleaning and minor maintenance of the Machines
  • Any other ad hoc duties as required

Key skills required for the role include

  • Must have 2+ years Folder Gluer Machine experience (or equivalent)
  • Must be able to produce Straighline, Crashlock and Four Corner products
  • Experience in setting J Packs is beneficial to the role
  • Experience of making products varying from Paper Weight to Heavyweight
  • Good communication and team working
  • Familiarisation with MIS systems is required

You will be required to work on a rotating Days and Afters shift pattern.

Days are 6am to 1.45pm from Mon to Thurs and 12.30pm on a Friday.

Afters are 1.30pm to 9pm from Mon to Thurs and 12.15pm to 7.45pm on a Friday.

Please be mindful that during peak production weeks, night shifts will be required to be worked.

The role is advertised as Permanent from Day 1 with a starting Salary of £34k pa.
