The Client:
Interaction Recruitment are proud to partner with a well-established organisation specialising in industrial vertical access and traction lift systems. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add a Traction Service Engineer to their small but expanding field-based team.
This is a purely onshore role, focusing on industrial environments, offering stability, structured workload and no requirement for offshore travel or call-out rota commitments.
The Role:
- Carry out service, maintenance, fault finding and repairs on traction lifts
- Conduct planned inspections and testing (where authorised)
- Complete all documentation including service reports, timesheets and job records
- Work in line with H&S policies, procedures and Safe Systems of Work (SSOWs)
- Represent the business professionally on customer sites
- Communicate effectively with customers, planners and internal teams
- Identify defects, risks and opportunities for improvement
- Support continuous improvement across safety, quality and service delivery
- Contribute to the growth of the traction lift division through high-quality service

The Requirements:
- Proven experience working on traction lifts (service, maintenance & fault finding)
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
- Ability to carry out inspections and testing where competent
- Knowledge of health & safety standards and safe systems of work
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
