We are recruiting for a Semi-Skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our growing team. This role is based at our Keighley site and includes mechanical fitting up of pipe spools and prefabricated pipework, as well as installation of pipework to boilers and bench assembly work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safe use of lifting equipment for moving and fitting large components.
- Always observe and comply with health & safety requirements.
- Maintain tidiness in the workplace and high standards of housekeeping.
- The use of hand tools & machinery including hand drills, mag drills, grinders, and air tools.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A positive and proactive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Salary: £13.50/£15.00 per hour dependent on experience and skill set.
37.5 hours per week, everything thereafter will be paid at time and one half. Monday to Thursday (Fridays off but if worked is counted as overtime).
22 days annual leave, plus Bank Holidays (accumulating +1 day for every 5 years of service).
