This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced injection moulding professional looking to join a growing and well-established manufacturing environment.
The Role
As an Injection Moulding Operator / Setter, you will be responsible for setting and operating injection moulding machinery, ensuring production runs efficiently and products meet the required quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Setting and operating injection moulding machines
- Carrying out mould and tool changes
- Setting machine parameters and ensuring correct production conditions
- Monitoring production runs and making adjustments where required
- Troubleshooting moulding and production issues
- Carrying out quality checks throughout production
- Working to production targets and deadlines
- Completing relevant production and quality documentation
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
- Following all company Health & Safety and quality procedures
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience as an Injection Moulding Setter / Operator
- Strong knowledge of injection moulding processes
- Experience with mould/tool changes and machine setting
- Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment
- A strong understanding of quality and production standards
- Good attention to detail and a reliable work ethic
