Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00am – 6:00pm
- Start and finish times may vary slightly depending on daily delivery volumes and traffic conditions.
The Role
As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for completing multi-drop pallet network deliveries across theCB, CM and PE postcode areas.
Your daily duties will include:
- Completing multi-drop pallet deliveries and collections
- Carrying out curb side deliveries to commercial and residential customers
- Using anelectric pump truckto safely unload palletised freight
- Conducting daily vehicle safety checks before commencing your route
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and on time
- Completing delivery paperwork and using handheld devices where required
- Providing a professional and courteous service to customers at every delivery point
- Following all road transport legislation, driver hours regulations and company procedures
- Keeping your vehicle clean, tidy and roadworthy
What We're Looking For
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A validClass 2 (Category C) Driving Licence
- A validDriver CPC Qualification Card
- A validDigital Tachograph Card
- A minimum of1 year's Class 2 driving experience
- No more than6 penalty pointsfor minor offences
- No DR, DD or IN endorsements
- Be21 years of age or overfor insurance purposes
- A positive attitude with excellent customer service skills
- Good knowledge of driver hours and working time regulations
- A reliable and professional approach to work
